Maja relocated from Copenhagen, Denmark to finish her Masters dissertation at University of New South Wales in 2005. She joined WRC in August 2008 as a Research Analyst. The topic of her Master dissertation was the consequences for the solidarity in the workforce when working with flexible management strategies.
Since joining the centre she has been involved in research projects which focus on improving workforce participation and firm performance and assisted on a project identifying pathways to skill growth or skill recession in the community services and health sectors.
Maja’s primary research interests are the dynamics between people and the facilitation of optimal communication, dialogue, culture, cooperation and knowledge sharing in the workplace.
