Qualifications: BA UNSW, MA (Australian Studies) UNSW, MTeach Syd.

Justine joined WRC in 1999. Prior to this she worked for four years as an industrial organiser and trainer for a federal public sector union and for seven years as a researcher with ABC Radio. Past projects have included research into public sector wages parity; wages and conditions in the Victoria Police Force; skill formation in the Victorian manufacturing industry; management of sub-contractor safety in the NSW construction and coal miningindustries; the operation of group training organisations as institutions of work transition;workforce issues in aged care; skill formation for sustainability; jurisdictional coverage of the WorkChoices legislation; and characteristics of low paid workers in Australia.
