Qualifications: BA (Hons) Psychology, Macq Uni; Master Org Psych, Macq Uni.

Gillian is an industrial psychologist and prior to joining the WRC in 1995 consulted to various public and private organisations in the area of change management, performance management, training, and selection.

While atthe WRCGillian has managed numerous projects related to skill development, vocational education and training, OHS, working hours, employee satisfaction, youth labour markets and employment conditions. She has extensive experience in quantitative and qualitative research design and has taught research methods at the post-graduate level. Gillian has recently completed a major quantitative employer-based study of workplace industrial arrangements in Australia. Her current personal research interests are in issues related to the working conditions of Australian teachers and nurses.

Gillian is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Sydney investigating the working conditions of NSW public secondary school teachers.
